Forget the speculation.....here`s the TRUE story of the variations of this single to dispel the myths!
December 1979- The first pressing of 1000 copies came with blue & white labels shown above. Only 2 or 300 came with the screen printed 'Dork' sleeve plus an even smaller amount had a lyric card insert.
Many of these blue/white label copies had the labels on the wrong sides due to an error at the pressing plant.
The second and further Dork pressings from early 1980 came with the green and white label (as shown below), and had plain sleeves.

 A STRAIGHTFORWARD RE-ISSUE OF THE PREVIOUS SINGLE ?
Confusion seems to exist among collectors regarding the EMI/Zonophone re-issue of 'Inside Out'. One hapless collector told us he`d recently paid a princely sum for what turned out to be an original Dork record in an EMI sleeve and tried to convince us that it was the correct combination. 

Rather confusingly, it does not mention anywhere on either the record or the cover that this is an EMI record. Furthermore, the label quite correctly bears the words 'original sound recording by Dork Records', in acknowledgement of it`s origins.
Only the catalogue number Z3, the red & black label, the picture cover and the fact that it looks nothing at all like the Dork Records version gives the game away that it is indeed an EMI/Zonophone copy.
